There Is....

There is definitely a bit of a nip to the air first thing in the morning. And that feeling of preferring to stay snuggled in the covers rather than getting up. I wasn't alone in having a lazy beginning to the day, Charlie and Nala happy to keep warm also. Content to watch the garden from the warm confines of the duvet, coffee in hand, what luxury, no needing to rush out the door.

This summer has seemed to have been relentless, a few days here and there teasing that cooler days were coming only to be sweltering again soon after.

Looking forward to wrapping up with jumpers and coats. Keeping my head warm with a wooly hat. Icy windscreens and frosty grass. And days of watching the rain fall while cosy inside around the fire blazing...........
