The First Time.....

The first time I have seen flowers on my mulberry tree, normally I just see the fruit. I was rather intrigued. Given I had never seen a flower, normally the berries form, growing ever bigger and plumper by the day until they are ready for eating.

Given that it the tree will not fruit until October I was surprised to see the flowers on the tree. The tree is now around seven years old so perhaps it is a maturity thing?

Whatever the reason it was another little miracle that the garden has gifted.......
