Settling down by the river to eat my lunch, not a person in sight only this white faced heron who was looking for a lunch of his own.
The only sound for the longest time was the soft lapping of the water, a few more birds appeared and I relaxed even more.
There is something so therapeutic about being next to water.
Surrounding me was the true magic of what living a life is about.
Quiet moments observing.
Watching the water.
Feeling the wind.
Appreciating the warmth of an already cooler autumn sun.
Bliss.
Deciding to amble over to a dog play area after I had eaten I spent the rest of the afternoon watching the joyous antics of dogs out for a swim and a play.
Humans forgotten as these dogs frolicked in the water and along the shoreline, happiness radiating out from them as they splashed and ran.
Not a care in the world so beautiful to watch....
