Aslan's recovery after the vicious attack he endured has been a slow process. In the past week his head feathers have finally begun to sprout. The injury to the top of his head was so savage that I did wonder whether he would actually grow feathers on his head again.
Six weeks on and nearly back to his former regal self.
He is looking quite punky with the little feathers popping out in a really funky way such a beautiful boy.....
