Miss Bear Enjoyed.......
Miss Bear enjoyed my day at home the most. After pottering about doing this and that I decided to tidy up my wardrobes. Well, Bear first of all jumped up on the top shelf and then eventually figured out that she could actually get on top of the wardrobe. She jumped from one to the other thinking that was just a fab game. Playfully swiping at me as I busied myself she was having a joyous time. She certainly had the devil in her, eyes wide as saucers.
A simply task took on a whole new energy with this impish feline causing mayhem. When she finally did figure out how to jump down she buried herself in the clothes on the bed grabbing each one as I attempted to hang them back up. The funny little vocal sounds she was making had me in hysterics.
Flowing with the day.
Allowing the playful nature of Bear's mood to glide along with what I was doing made for such an enjoyable day.
Humans take themselves too seriously.
And quite often messing around is viewed as childish or timewasting.
None of us know what tomorrow will bring.
So I choose to be in the moment.
I choose to live a life I love, doing things that are simple and soul enriching.
If that means larking about with a cat, then larking about with a cat is what I will do..........
Charlie Was....
Charlie was most disgruntled when I finally did make the move to get up. He loves to cuddle up longer than the girls and always gives me the look when he knows that my day is beginning. He did seem appeased when I did not make the bed and left him to slumber the morning away.
Just a tad pampered wouldn't you say.....
An Unexpected Day.....
An unexpected day at home so an extra long snuggle in bed was enjoyed. Little Nala purring and kneading away from the warmth of her blanket tent. So content and so cute.....
Day 5.....
Day 5 of 16 ounces of straight celery juice on an empty stomach.
Am I seeing any benefits?
Amazingly yes.
Very pleased I decided to give this a go......
Come For A Walk.....
Come for a walk along the Swan River at Bells Rapids a place of rugged beauty.
This part of the river changes dramatically season to season. When I visited here after the devastating bushfire in February there was little to no water in the river, in fact I could make it across the riverbed to the opposite side. Although I came a few weeks after the fire the area still smelt of smoke. Everything then was black, some larger trees still smoldering.
Yesterday to see the regeneration of the bushland was heartwarming. Green lush new growth covering the ground. The river furiously flowing. Everything felt revived, so vibrant and alive. The foam from the fast flowing currents was pooled in different areas along the river, rainbow bubbles glittering in the sun. The rock beings emitted a deep peaceful presence. The ancient beings of the planet often overlooked. Sitting by the river for a spell in silence and feeling the gentle presence of the rock vibrating its gentle healing into me. My hands tingling where I touched this glorious primordial rock. Heart still, soul nourished a beautiful way to begin my week............
