Madame Bears escapades frolicking on top of the wardrobes on Wednesday had her discover my old brown faux fur quilt which is stored up there.
Last night I watched with a great deal of amusement as she was figuring out if she could make the jump from the bed to the top of the wardrobe. On Wednesday she got up there from being on the top shelf of the wardrobe.
Perched on the side of the bed, bottom wiggling in anticipation of the leap before moving and beginning the procedure again from a different vantage point. It took her a good while before launching off and making a purrfect landing. I wasn't sure what the attraction was until she began to snuggle down on the old quilt. So I decided to bring the quilt down.
Onto the bed it went and a look of complete satisfaction was on her face as she stretched out ready to settle down for the night. That extra layer on the bed made for a luxuriously warm night, so snug that I didn't move nor wake at all through the night.
Waking this morning to discover that I wasn't the only one who enjoyed the added warmth of the old quilt. All three kitties had slept on the bed, not something that normally happens.
Bear still in exactly the same place as she went to sleep last night, like me it appears she had a blissful nights sleep.....
