With Showers Easing....

With showers easing I headed outside with my camera for a walk around the garden, to discover my battery needs recharging. So not a lot of photos were taken.
The wax flowers are beginning to open, they normally open late winter to spring, given the weather has been haywire they are beginning to flower now. I have five varieties of wax flowers all varying shades of pink.

Happy to see feathers growing on Aslan's head. He should be back to his handsome self in no time now.

My red hakea is beginning to flower. The flowers grow on the old wood and appear to creep along the branch. There are so many more flowers this year than last year. The rosemary is in bloom and enticing in the blue bees I trust. And my mini flower meadow in the raised garden bed has sprouts all over. I have no idea how this will look as I have several packets of seeds all planted randomly. I am looking forward to seeing what the end result is. The idea was to get in more pollinators, perhaps I may discover some new insects when this is in flower.

The mulberry tree can't decide whether to shed its leaves or fruit. The pond plants are spreading and giving coverage to the frogs. The white kangaroo paw is still slowly unfolding, looking forward to this first flower as not seen one before.

Tiny Pearl was having a few quiet moments before bed and a pair of galahs are allowing me to get quite close now. Love how wild birds begin to accept you once you pose no threat.
Gardens truly are magical.......
