Not Something.....

Not something I see everyday, and actually if a fire hadn't have broken out on board I wouldn't have seen it at all.  

Icebreaker Antarctic supply ship MPV Everest had to detour into the port of Fremantle for repairs. Luckily no one on board was hurt in the fire. I couldn't get any closer than this which was a shame. It actually took me a few minutes to realise that the platform in the front of the ship was a helipad. It was not the biggest vessel I have seen in the port, but for me the most intriguing, mostly they are passenger liners or cargo ships.

Would have loved to have been a stowaway on this, venturing to the Antarctic has always been on my bucket list......
