Adoable New Arrivals........

Adorable new arrivals in the field of my favourite cow family. Two tiny calves have joined the herd. The white one is only four days old and was resting in the sunshine. The older calf was born about five weeks ago and was a lot more active than it's tiny sibling. Dad was off to the side keeping an eye on his family, he also looked to have a problem with his skin, patches of bare skin were evident along his shoulders, perhaps another sufferer of seasonal allergies. 

Cows are such gentle creatures and very affectionate. This family has a love of carrots and will come to the fence as soon as they see one on offer. A beautiful end to my day yesterday. Seeing the two newborns was an unexpected surprise which  added so much joy to my day......
