Wild Weather..........

Wild weather has been with us for a couple of days with another weather warning in place for today. Having lost power for a day up here in the hills it was torch and candlelight for a couple of nights.
Perfect for watching the furious storm.
Heading down to the river yesterday in between drenching showers I was delighted to see the swollen river running fast. The banks had puddles everywhere and a there were lots of fallen trees, which I checked for possums or birds that may have been injured.
At the moment it is eerily calm, yet on the horizon the promise of more live giving rain lingers.....
