After Months And Months......

After months and months and months with the chickens not laying the grandpups had become a little annoyed when I visited emptied handed.
Not an egg in sight.
How dare I!
Today though, I was the bearer of the first seven eggs I have collected in months and months and months.
And of course the first to get these prized eggs were the grandpups.
Cooper so excited he nearly took one straight from the carton.
So excited was he to see that at last his favourite treat had walked through the door.
Both he and Banjo tore out the back door heading for the grass, where they know they will be given an egg each.
Along the way yips and jumps of excitement were given.
Cooper in place first eagerly awaiting this tasty and long missed fresh egg.
Cooper wastes no time in breaking the shell and almost sucking up the contents, Banjo though takes a little more time.
With his finished within seconds I might add, Cooper then waits for the shell of Banjos egg.
For some reason Banjo doesn't like the crunchy outer shell, and Cooper leaves nothing to waste.
Afterwards a contented Cooper lazed in the warm winter sunshine resembling a beautiful sun bear, Banjo though was intent on playing and kept attempting to vibe us humans into some serious playtime action.....
