A walk in Stirk Park in Kalamunda yesterday checking in on the little duck that I taken to the vet a month ago. He had been released and it wasn't until the end of the walk that I saw him resting alone and content by the edge of pond.
The trees glorious against the sky. The lilly pilly trees in the park ladened with fruit a feast for birds and marsupials alike. Being in the presence of trees is always humbling for me as much it is inspiring. And of course fascinating. Looking upwards gives one a completely different perspective, as does looking down. The textures and patterns of the bark, the growth of moss. The stark beauty of the leafless trees truly magnificent....
