The Beginning Of.........

The beginning of a community garden that I passed the other day in Darlington, which had me pullover and go and investigate. It is much different to the community garden that I visit sometimes in Glen Forest, and the community garden in my small town is rather, well I dare say, lacking a personality and imagination.

The veggies and herbs are thriving already and the plan is to have different climbing plants growing up the steel structure creating a giant arbor. Classically arbors are normally archways, but I have to say I really like the originality of this structure. I am looking forward to watching this space develop as the months progress.......
