After a gloriously wet day where the steady downpours continued for houraftr hour, it wasn't only I who was joyous. The garden was buzzing after the nourishing showers sated the dry earth.
The silver princess flowers were spectacular, many have now opened and they dazzled as droplets of water glistened like tiny diamonds. Truly outstanding and unique blooms.
The rose chested cockatoos were exceptionally noisy as they invaded the garden. The food and flower forest is finally offering boons of wholesome goodness for the chickens and myself. Handfuls of fresh spinach picked for the chickens, a few radishes, mustard greens and coriander taken to the kitchen for dinner tonight.
Elsewhere in the garden every plant was almost humming, the leaves all so vibrant and green, this lashing rain feeding all and giving life to seeds still waiting to sprout.......

I love those blooms. I've never seen anything like them.
They are beautiful. One of my favourite wildflowers.
The birds have it made there.
They certainly do William.
