After taking up a section of his back lawn my son has begun to create his own mini bird sanctuary.
Replacing the lawn with a variety of bird attracting natives he is already seeing much more activity in his garden.
Having lost a few plants in the storm a couple of weeks ago a visit to Zanthorrea nursery yesterday for a few new plants to fill the empty spaces.
Now the fun part begins, watching it thrive and grow......
