Aslan my regal lavender araucana rooster being his gentle self, having a rare moment with me under the patio.
He bent down for a bit of preening and his neck feathers suddenly took on the appearance of a feathery soft flower, amazing how different they look upside down.
I don't often catch him having a few moments on his own so I took the opportunity to make him the focus of my attention and admire the handsome rooster he is.......
