What started off as a beautiful spring day was suddenly changed as dark rain clouds appeared seemingly out of nowhere.
Following moments later the crack of lightning and roaring thunder claps sent all the birds and chickens heading for cover.
I love a storm, and now I have the perfect place to observe nature doing her thing, taking advantage of my new patio I settled to watch the storm pass by.
Watching the clouds continuously shifting and changing giving the sky such a different feel.
The boon of rain they carry within was welcomed by the garden, I could sense the gardens gratitude as the rain began to fall.
The showers so heavy at times during the afternoon it was deafening inside the cottage as it pounded on the tin roof.
The cats scurried for cover frightened by this sudden roaring sound not coming out until the showers had ceased and all was quiet once again.
Then as fast as it appeared it disappeared and all was still and calm once again.......
