Not Forgetting Nala......

Not forgetting Nala, still so tiny and slight as she heads towards her first birthday, I am guessing around mid February she will be a year old.

Whatever happened to her before she came to live with me has left many scars, she is still terrified of being picked up. She is also extremely fearful of being closed in a room alone or with her siblings, god only knows what she endured in the first weeks of her life.

Safe here she is thriving despite her slight size, and is so loving and affectionate when she comes to snuggle and cuddle, purring and kneading in contentment when she does so.

I cannot save every animal in need of rescuing, however those I do rescue are loved and honored each and every moment of our days together......
