Another fledgling I discovered in the garden yesterday having a drink of water.
I am pretty sure it is a laughing kookaburra given the shape of it's beak and feather colours.
Viewing it through a window I was able to watch it without causing it much stress.
It sat on the side of the pot having a look around before hoping about on the ground before actually running up the tree and out of sight.
The abundance of new life in the garden is truly the greatest gift to be given as a new year begins and one I never tire of witnessing.......
