A few more flowers are appearing to brighten the garden. Normally though this time of the year the bushland is beginning to come alive too. Like the garden, the plants are slow to even bud. The lack of rain since last year has really taken its toll. No matter how much I water the garden is still parched, the plants looking droopy and sad. There is still no rain in sight for the coming week, and the temperature is still hot during the day. I truly hope that April marks the start of luscious cold wet winter months which will last until spring begins...
