Art in the Park at one of the oldest towns in the state was fabulous way to spend my Saturday. A relaxing 94-kilometre drive through the countryside to the small town of Gingin which was established around 1830. Being more focused on the art than the history of the place I set off to locate the civic centre.
I was astounded once again at how many talented people walk amongst us, and I was at odds to find one piece that stood alone as the all-out favourite of this exhibition. The harp I must say was an amazing piece and to have that standing in the garden somewhere would be very luxurious, however it was way out of my price range.
There was something to appeal to everyone and it was well worth the hours' drive each way, I left the exhibition inspired to head off back into nature to see what other wonders I would encounter...
