After The Rain...

After the rain Friday I set off for a brief meander around the lake yesterday, the scents of the bush were utterly delightful, the moisture from the rain coupled with the heat of the sun created a heady fragrance of eucalyptus which hung heavy in the air. 

Although the rain we received was not a great deal, I did notice a certain zing in the plants, especially the grass trees, they seemed shinier and very vibrant. 

Not many ducks were on the lake because they were more than likely at my place.

With another storm expected to arrive later in the day the clouds drifting in did look like they would indeed bring the promise of more than a drizzling of rain...
