The Afternoon....

The afternoon had me back in bushland. The day had warmed so much that I hugged the treeline to keep in the shadows where there was a bit of respite from the heat. 

Sadly my camera card ran out of memory part way through my walk  and I had forgotten to take another with me. 

Along the way were many scarlet robins. They were are stunning wee birds and seemed quite agreeable to posing for a photo. 

The clouds also captured my attention as I meandered along, as did the shimmering energy of the bushland itself..........
