The ducklings arrived nice and early this morning and were supervised by dad as he stood guard on a piece of wood. The youngsters are still quite flighty at noises that they are unsure of, although they are not running away everytime I walk outside.
Another baby in the garden was a single ring-necked parrot out with its parents. Seen at the top of one of the trees in the garden it was calling to its parents until they flew back closer to it. It must be really overwhelming flying out into a strange new world.
It is such a privileged to have new life coming to the garden on a regular basis. Over time I get to recognise each individual bird as they grow and begin to notice their quirks.
Life in my garden is constantly amazing....
