A pair of happy little wanderers keeping pace with me as I watered the garden this morning. Pink and grey galahs are known as the clowns of the bird world because of the often ridiculous antics they get up to. Seeing them hanging upside-down or waddling along in their comical manner can often induce giggles. One thing is for sure a smile is always on my lips should these delightful fun loving birds be present.
They all tend to look the same except the juveniles have duller feathers than the adults of the flock. Telling the males from the females is easy, the males have dark brown or black eyes whereas the females have pink or red eyes......
