A warm morning preceding yet another hot day. Hurry up autumn!
Not many flowers are blooming in the garden at the moment and the chickens are continually moving around the garden searching for shade. They also scratch down into the soil digging little burrows where they then settle down in the cooler earth after I have watered.
Aslan was having a crow in one photo, he tends to crow at different times throughout the day.
Crowing doesn't just happen as dawn approaches, Aslan crows for a variety of reasons.
Sometimes it is because the girls have all run off, sometimes it is a call that a threat is near and other times it is because he has heard something that unsettles him from outside the fence.
A very regal boy who looks after his girls with such gentleness, this energy emanates out into the garden bringing calm to all.....
