Finally....

Finally the leaves are beginning to turn on the few deciduous trees I come across. Summer seems to have lasted an eternity this year, the heat relentless and exhausting. 

The cooler weather welcomed by me as always. Brisk walks in the rain and cosy afternoons by the fire are always far more appealing than the long scorching hot days of summer......
