A Tiny Kingfisher...

A tiny kingfisher had dashed into the safety of a leafy canopy, it was calling frantically appearing to be somewhat distressed. 

I had my camera on full zoom and still could not get a clear photo of this wee bird. The wind was quite insistent in swaying the leaves to and fro. making a clear shot near impossible.

Given the branch was overhanging the river I wasn't able to wander closer to change my perspective, that however did not take away from how special this moment was. 

There are several small kingfishers native to Western Australia, I wasn't able to see this one close enough to know exactly which one it was...
