Another Delightful....

Another delightful afternoon spent admiring the visitors to the garden. It is breeding season for the rose chested cockatoos and the first of the fledglings are beginning to appear with their parents. They can be very noisy when demanding to be fed and it isn't uncommon to see one of the parents give them a few pecks on the head to quieten them down. They are less vibrant in colour than their parents and obviously smaller too and far more hilarious to watch as they learn to navigate the world.
A few bees were lingering as the sun was slowly disappearing and a couple of other birds were still searching for a early evening snack. Certainly a serene way to end the day...
