Catching Glimpses...

Catching glimpses of a new honeyeater in the front garden had me trying to get a few photos of it. The leafy foliage though makes it difficult to get a clear image. The smaller new holland honeyeaters kept chasing it away, but it did persist which I was pleased to see.
The flowers on the cinnamon myrtle are covering the plant and are so tiny and delicate. Very beautiful flowers indeed with a spicy fragrance.
A couple of ducks are still visiting the garden, the rest of the flock seems to have already taken off to wherever it is they spend the summer months.
The chickens were enjoying the cool of the morning before yet another hot day begins....
