Stormy Skies........

Stormy skies bringing the refreshing bounty of rain saw a sunny and hot morning cool as the afternoon arrived. The chickens dashing for cover as the rain began to fall. They are not fans of getting wet and huddle under the trees, as the garden continues to grow they have more and more leafy nooks in which to hide.

The garden was a hive of activity with many insects out feasting on different flowers. I can lose hours observing the magic of nature. The white bottlebrush flowers do make it challenging for the bees to navigate their way through, their legs getting caught in the tangle of the flowers, some needed a bit of help to continue on their way. Their tiny legs ladened with pollen as they buzz from flower to flower, they are fascinating to watch.

Watching and listening to what happens around me brings such serenity......
