A Surprise Visit.....

A surprise visit from the grandpups was a delightful way to begin a Sunday. With yips of happiness they flew out of the car and then dashed madly around the garden sniffing all the weird and wonderful scents that my garden holds.
They are absolutely overwhelmed as they investigate these mysterious odours as their noses take them on a journey around the garden.
In recent visits I have begun letting the chickens out to mingle with Cooper and Banjo, although curious the pups really are not too bothered about these odd feathered creatures.
This time many of the other birds appeared less nervous of the grandpups visiting which was nice to see.
Giving the boys an egg each to enjoy Bella came over to check out these big furry beings, she appeared equally curious of the dogs, the rest of the flock were too interested in scratching for bugs.
It really is wonderful watching the pups stimulated by the smells in my mini forest garden.
As well as the scents of the chickens and the other birds that dwell in the garden there are also scents from lizards, goannas, possums and frogs that also leave tantalising invisible trails for them to follow.
For a pair of city pups this surely equals puppy heaven.......

Lots of smells and sights and feathery creatures to get to know. That sounds like a great time for the dogs.
