Getting Ready For....
Getting ready for a new year approaching and knowing I wanted to be prepared to start it as I mean to continue, learning something new and continuing with my personal transformational work. Recently I had been feeling the urge to get a new deck of tarot cards. A bit bored of the old tired decks that have been on the market for decades I was overjoyed to find the Dreams of Gaia deck. It is a tarot for a new era. It has more cards than the traditional decks and also the major and minor arcana's are vastly different to traditional decks, it is a really inspiring and artfully stunning set, I have a lot of study to do on this set.
Also discovering for the very first time a lunar diary designed for the southern hemisphere instead of the northern hemisphere which really are no good for me.
Again stunning art work and lots of inspiring suggestions as well as all the relevant moon cycles based on living down under.
2020 was a year of amazing personal growth for me amidst the chaos that the planet fell into. Keeping with the flow of how 2020 was mostly for me,(I too had a few hiccups along the way) I am going to focus on transformation, magic and inspiration as 2021 slips into my realm.
Much to study and much to learn and I am truly looking forward to setting 2021 off in an inspirational and magical way, of focusing on bringing positive vibes into my realm and nurturing and expanding my already deep connection with my beloved Pachamama, who without none of us would be here.
I give intent for it to be a year of playfulness, inner growth and joyous memories......
My Glass Of Morning...
My glass of morning zing.
A glass full of nutrients whizzed up in seconds and then sipped and savoured.
My recipe is really simple.
One frozen banana.
Two handfuls of blueberries.
One heaped teaspoon of spirulina.
Two teaspoons of raw cacao
Top up with almond milk and a splash of filtered water then blend away......

Tadpoles....
Tadpoles, flowers, frogs and bees bringing a garden to life.
Always love to visit other gardens where life abounds and seeing what plants other people select to create their outdoor rooms. And as always I get totally lost watching bees going about the seemingly endless task of collecting pollen and nectar and wondering how different the honey would taste from these wildflowers the bees are visiting. The simply things in life really do bring me the most joy......

The Past Two....
The past two days has seen the kitty kids along with myself blobbing in the coolness of the air conditioning as the heat made it impossible to do anything else.
Nala favouring one of the chairs directly under the cool air and not moving until night falls. Bear keeping watch out of the front door on what has become her summer perch.
And Charlie kept near me as I watch a movie on the computer. All of us too drained to do very much at all and all very lethargic. Hurry up winter......
Venturing Out....
Venturing out of the cottage in the late afternoon yesterday to refill the birdbaths and to check that the chickens had survived the heat I was greeted by a mesmerising sky and a single pink and grey galah.
The bird grateful for fresh cool water, the chickens all terribly hot but thankfully all okay. Keeping the garden alive is my priority at the moment, the heat sucking any trace of moisture out of the ground by early morning. During the summer months I let the grass dieback as trying to maintain a green lush lawn takes too much water. Thankfully after all of the trees had a growth spurts this winter there is a lot more shade in the garden, not that it makes it that much cooler, it does though stop the more delicate plants from burning. Apparently we are in for a cooler day today, I most certainly will appreciate a break from the intense heat of recent days.....
Not The Sort.....
Not the sort of thing you want to see on Christmas day.
Hearing the loud whirring of a helicopter coming in to land I had thought there was a fire nearby and it was stopping to take on water as they normally do in the summer months when fires are raging. Sadly though this was a search and rescue helicopter. Landing on the oval behind my home where an ambulance and police cars met it hopefully whoever was in there got to the hospital in time.....
