The Garden...

The garden on a glorious rainy Sunday afternoon had a few hidden surprises. I discovered a few mushrooms and a really curious puffball in a secluded corner of the front garden. Glistening raindrops added a magical splash across the whole garden. I only noticed one bee braving the chilly moist weather. It's tiny legs loaded with pollen to take back to the hive.
I found one of the oranges ripening on the tree had been pulled off and partly eaten, perhaps by a possum? I am not sure if the rabbits would partake in citrus fruits. Also the bunnies and quendas have been busy turning over the soil, they are such busy little garden residents.

This is my favourite season, the cooler weather and rains awaken the slumbering plants after managing to survive through the summer months, and suddenly flowering begins...

Beautiful captures. The orange flower with the droplets on its petals is stunning.

A garden is a very busy place just teeming with life much of which we can't even see. Lovely photos.
