A Morning Meander...

A morning meander around my garden is always a pleasure, especially when there are so many visitors, both feathered and furry. Although I noticed two bunnies, only one came to eat the oats I threw out for them. As well as many rose chested cockatoos one of the quendas was also present. I am not sure if she might have joeys in her pouch as she was quite full around the tummy.

As well as enjoying my colourful and cute visitors I took a moment to see what was in flower. Two hakeas are in flower, as well as several of the grevilleas.
I am not sure how my flower meadow will fare this year, now that the rabbits and quendas have moved in. It normally self seeds, and I am not sure what shoots will attract my fluffy garden inhabitants.
I have noticed that the fennel is a bunny favourite, as are the nasturtiums. The artichoke is going well, so I at least I will have those to harvest. So far, only one calendula has been able to make it to flowering.

I really am blessed to have a garden filled with so much life, the chickens take it all in their stride and despite all the varying species, there is never any quarrels nor aggression...
