A winters walk through the bush after the rain is always a refreshing experience. The scents in the air were amazing. I thought as I ambled along it would be wonderful to be able to capture the fragrance and take it with me. It's a soothing comforting aroma which envelopes me. It's instantly calming.
Couple that with the serenades of birds and it surely equals perfection.
Some plants had already bloomed and were ending their vibrant parades of loveliness. But mostly I saw buds galore all getting ready for unveiling their beauty and feeding an array of insects and birds.
The sound of water running through the small stream was music for my heart.
In winter the bushland comes alive, it's an extraordinary time, and one that I always relish...
