A short visit to Northam yesterday left me with a feeling that I would return once there's been a bit more rain. Northam is a small rural town half hour drive from Chidlow heading east.
I was quite surprised to see seagulls here as it's quite a long flight to the coast. Made me wonder what on earth possessed them to head this far inland. But that's a question I'd never get an answer to.
The river was shockingly low, hopefully some wet weather will settle in soon...

I hope you get some rain, dear friend. Thank you so much for sharing your photos. The seagulls seem to be all over the world. :)
I had to look on a map to see the location of this place. You are so right, that is a good distance from the sea for seagulls to fly.
I often look up places you mention in your posts too. Yes, the seagulls, are very far from the Indian Ocean.
Thank you Linda, love sharing my photos.
