The Vibrant...

The vibrant beauty of sunflowers adds a happy vibrancy to any garden. These glorious blooms were a visual delight to behold in a garden I visited yesterday.

 I will certainly ask for some seeds when they have done flowering as these are magnificent. 

There were a lot of insects enjoying the pollen and nectar being offered by the flowers, ant's, bees and ladybugs were happily foraging despite the intense midday heat. 

Sunflowers gift offerings to us gardeners as well, the seeds can be collected and roasted and the petals can be added to salads...
