The White....

The white bottlebrush trees are still not blooming like the four red trees in the garden.
It is interesting watching the wave of unfolding as it happens with each plant.
Being at a higher elevation the flowering up here happens later than it does way down on the flat suburban areas.
Trusting in the next couple of days these two trees will unfurl their beautiful blooms.

This year really has been the best winter I have seen since moving to the cottage And with a large majority of the garden now being in for close to six years they are now thriving and better able to cope with the harsh summer which unfortunately will be with us soon.
With more shade as most of the trees are now much taller and bushier I am trusting that the garden will create a cool haven on the long exhausting summer days, where many an afternoon will be had swinging in the hammock under a canopy of green.....
