The very first singing honeyeater that I have ever seen in the garden. Not much bigger than the apple cores he was having a nibble on.
It took me quite a while to identify this little one. Taking a moment to sit and watch him enjoying a snack of apple and pear was really very special.
I have heard several new bird songs in the garden of late, now at least I have been able to name one of the new birds who is serenading dawn and dusk.......

He is a Western Australian honeyeater Ellen so only found in the West of Australia.
