How I Enjoyed.....

How I enjoyed getting out in the warm sunshine today.  Charlie took a moment watching the goings out  in the garden before outside time. 

Lots of little jobs done around the garden, some vegetable seedlings planted, I also attempted to chicken proof the bigger raised garden bed where I have planted a garden purposely to attract insects. Hopefully I will outsmart the chickens this time! Some of them have been up in it digging around for bugs and have unfortunately uprooted lots of sprouting seeds.

Mr and Mrs Duck have eggs somewhere close. Mama duck showed up ravenous for seed. She gobbled as much as she could before flying off once again pretty quickly.

Lots of flowers in the garden, I noted how much the garden has changed since this time last year. There will be quite a bit of pruning to be done after the flowering season.  For now though I was happy to just potter doing this and that, admiring every flower and the warmth of the sun.

The afternoon sun did induce Nala into a  midday siesta as life carried on around her. A thoroughly fabulous day.....
