The first of my yearly duck visitors to arrive this year is this mating pair, they usually arrive by walking down the driveway from the street, fly over the gate and continue their waddle towards the chicken pen.
When wild birds choose to spend their days relaxing in your garden you are indeed blessed.
Over the years all the birds that visit know that they are safe, and if I am alone in the garden they don't fly off when I am pottering about.
From the tiny little birds to these the largest daily visitors I always stop to watch and enjoy their presence in my garden and acknowledge the joy these Beings bring me each and every single day......
