The garden is exploding with colour as winter finally seems to have found us.
Although rainfall is lacking, the cooler temperature has plants blooming and vibrant green grasses and weeds bursting out across the ground.
Winter here is similar to springtime in the United Kingdom, everything is lush and shimmering with life.
Bees are plentiful and busy buzzing from flower to flower. Birds are building nests in various places in the garden which is adding to the overall busyness.
I have also noted a few more quenda joeys zooming around the garden. It's actually quite difficult to know exactly how many quendas live in the garden now, there are so many at varying ages.
It's really quite a privilege to be caretaking this abundant little plot of earth...
