Feeling Grateful...

Feeling grateful for having such a beautiful and abundant place to tend and to relax in. 

The warmer weather has prompted many of the plants to flower. 

So much colour bursting forth as winter slowly gives way to spring. 

The mulberry tree is laden with fruit.

 As the fig tree begins to awaken after winter, so too are tiny figs forming. 

Potato plants are showing signs of a good crop too, and so many broad beans are in flower. 

The fennel and artichokes are growing well and will offer their boons in a few months. 

Given the overcast hue of the day not one bee was sighted, hidden away it seems until the wonderful nurturing rain passes, and the suns warmth returns once again...
