A family of wood ducks were perfectly camouflaged as they gently paddled along. The brown hues making is somewhat difficult to capture a crisp photo. I am consistently grateful to see a duck family with so many ducklings. I do hope all these fluffy babies make it to adulthood. They are already quite mature; this family has done well thus far.
I also spotted a pair of ring-necked parrots up high on a branch, they were happily chatting away, perhaps to chicks hidden in a hollow...
