An invasion of pink and grey galahs joined the ducks yesterday morning for a treat of some tasty grain, having changed my chickens feed recently the pink and grey galahs suddenly reappeared as regular garden visitors.
Although very comical and cute they do cause a lot of damage in the garden with their antics so I had switched chicken feed to dissuade them for coming each day, funny how they seemed to know that a more tasty chicken feed was on the menu once again.
They squawked and chatted amongst themselves, occasionally a dispute between a couple of them broke out which had the noise levels of their chattering reaching a very loud level, so much so that the chickens ended up running at them so that they would fly off and peace resumed in the garden once again.....
