The arrival of Miss Opal and Miss Pearl was quite the event!
With Cheeky Chook passing I did need to get more hens for Aslan as Maple was becoming his favourite and it is making her poorly, Brulee runs away each time Aslan approaches her which is not helping her sister!
Not sure these two will solve the problem though as they were tinier than I expected.
Aslan seems taken with them though, they unfortunately are terrified of everything.
They did enjoy the watermelon though and I am trusting that by this weekend they will be settled enough to venture out and explore the garden a bit more having only come out of the night pen once in the last three days......
