What Is It.....

What is it with humanity and drama?

Having the ability to observe nature on a daily basis in my garden with a variety of wildlife, no other species engages in on going dramatic squabbles the way humans do.

Humans appear to have a passion for drama.

You only need to glance at the tabloid magazines to get a taste of just how nasty the human can become.
How did this sort of behaviour become the norm?

It is not just the tabloids that are engaging in the slagging off of others, some humans just seem to be happy when they gang up on others, pick on the loner or just be plain nasty to anyone who doesn't measure up to their view of perfection.

But who is perfect?

Are any of us that perfect that we can point the finger at others for whatever imperfection we assume they have?

Humans become involved in situations that are none of their business quite regularly, they will interfere whether their opinion is called for or not, and often in a group they will turn on others that they feel do not fit in until eventually the gentler one gets the message and moves on.

Humans have a long history of sticking their noses in where they are neither wanted or needed, and in most situations if meddling humans kept out of situations that did not directly involve them then many situations would not become as dysfunctional as they do.

We all encounter situations that we could offer our opinions, but perhaps we ought to think first before we butt in as to whether the situation is actually any of our business!

If a situation directly involves us then yes it is a situation that involves us personally.
If the situation is occurring to someone you know, then actually it is none of our business.
We can listen and support but it is not up to us to become embroiled in whatever situation they find themselves in.
Again the tabloid magazines are a perfect example of this.
Spreading gossip that they make up with sensational headlines just to sell their ridiculous stories.

The media is promoting the wrong way of being, especially to those too influenced by what they hear or see in the media to see through the stories and manipulation of the media.
Society loves a drama.
There is no news in peace, there is news however in gossip no matter how far fetched it is.
It is a sad state of affairs that humanity is really in.
Living in harmony is not something that is promoted.
Being kind to each other is not promoted either.

Instead humans wear their masks, always trying to become what it is they think they need to become by what they are fed through the media or peer groups and thus the dysfunction continues and I am very glad at the end of each day to return to a media free zone and be surrounded by my natural little garden haven where only a handful of humans ever enter.....
