Spending Time...

Spending time in my garden doesn't happen as much as I would like with work taking priority five days a week. There's always something happening in the garden, currently there are several pink and grey galah fledglings, in the third photo there's a gorgeous picture of Mama and baby. These babies are incredibly loud and demanding when they are hungry. I often think that their parents are very patient putting up with them. I have heard neighbours in the past screaming shut up. Which is really quite funny, as the birds obviously don't take any notice.

The clouds have been interesting lately, I love a cloudy sky. As I always say, a clear blue sky is boring. Sadly though, no rain. There was a spattering for about a minute, not that that did much good. It's frustrating because often I can smell the rain, yet that's it. Nothing ever comes of it.

I added a new birdbath to the front garden, I placed an ornament of an angel playing a flute in the middle. It's quite deep so the ornament gives bees a landing point.

Other glimpses are of a bird's-nest and the left overs of a fig on a leaf and if course flowers and all of my beautiful wildlife visitors...
