If you recall, I was invited to the opening of PAPER THIN, SKIN DEEP at The Mundaring Arts Centre towards the end of January.
Unfortunately the gallery was absolutely heaving and there was barely room to stand, let alone view these fragile works.
I recently went back and was able to view the exhibition at my leisure and alone which felt much more in tune with the atmosphere the curator had created.
Shadows and subtle lighting enhanced the mood perfectly, as I shifted my perspective I was really able to appreciate each piece at a different angle which deepened my appreciation.
Many of these pieces were sold at the exhibition opening, and I can understand why, this exhibition has real emotion woven into each and every piece
By stilling myself I found myself taking a very intimate journey as I studied each creation...
